Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your expertise in the telecom and IT domain while playing a key role in the process automation and software development lifecycle. You will act as the vital bridge between our business stakeholders and our automation development team, turning business needs into actionable requirements.
You will be responsible for analyzing business processes in the telecom, IT and support domains, translating them into detailed software requirements, and ensuring the final product delivers exceptional value and aligns with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with system architects, product managers and subject matter experts to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for software projects.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Support the development and QA teams throughout the sprint cycle by clarifying requirements and answering questions.
- Participate actively in development ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
- Conduct basic data analysis to support feature definition and identify potential issues.
- Assist in testing activities to ensure the final product meets business expectations and quality standards.
- Help maintain a prioritized product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of our telecom products, business processes and the problems they solve for our clients.
- Act as a primary point of contact for business units, facilitating communication, managing expectations, and building strong relationships
Required Technical Skills:
- University degree, or 2-5 years of work experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar role within a software development environment.
- Exposure to the Telecommunications or IT industry. You should have a basic understanding of telecom concepts (e.g., connectivity, provisioning or network operations).
- Hands-on experience writing user stories and managing backlogs in an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Proficiency with business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
Soft Skills & Expectations:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to facilitate discussions and build consensus.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Team player with a collaborative and open attitude
