Job overview:
Development and Delivery Director is responsible for strategic planning, organization, supervision, and enhancement of all activities related to network construction and maintenance, workstation management, IT support for all end-user computing systems, as well as the development and management of the company’s OSS infrastructure and business applications. This role includes optimizing operational and technological processes, advancing digitalization and automation, and ensuring effective coordination of teams and resources in line with the company’s strategy. This positions reports to the CEO.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Development:
• Define and implement the department’s long-term strategy in alignment with the company’s business objectives.
• Ensure efficient and optimal organization of the department through digitalization, automation, and innovation.
Infrastructure and Technology Process Management:
• Responsible for ensuring high reliability and quality of network infrastructure through the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the telecommunications network.
• Oversees security and operational standards for end-user devices, with a strategic focus on support efficiency and device security.
• Responsible for strategic planning, improvement, and continuity of OSS systems and business applications, including supervision of external partners and vendors..
Efficiency and Cost Optimization:
• Manage the department budget and implement cost optimization strategies by rationalizing resources and applying advanced technological solutions.
• Launch initiatives to enhance the efficiency of operational teams through process optimization and digitalization.
Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Develop and lead a highly professional and motivated team of experts in network infrastructure, IT support, and OSS applications.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure business process alignment and the achievement of strategic goals.
• Drive employee development strategies, strengthen competencies, and foster innovation within the department.
Service and Customer Experience Improvement:
• Implement new technologies and systems to improve customer experience and service quality.
• Proactively monitor market trends and deploy innovations that boost the company’s competitive edge
Occupational Health and Safety: ·
• Ensures implementation of all legal and internal occupational health and safety procedures within the department,
• Responsible for nurturing a safety culture within the department through preventive measures and employee training, as well as implementing corrective actions in case of incidents.
Requirements:
• University degree in telecommunications, information technology, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in telecommunications, IT, or related industries.
• Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role at a strategic level.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications, IT infrastructure, and commercial operations.
• Proven experience in strategic planning and implementing business and technology initiatives.
• Excellent team leadership and change management skills.
• Understanding of OSS/BSS systems and application management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to operate in an international and multidisciplinary environment.
