ROLE OVERVIEW:

• Radio frequency, cell neighbouring and parameter planning and optimisation
• KPI monitoring and analysis of mobile services (2G/3G/4G/5G)
• Performance anomaly detection and analysis of possible solutions
• Assessment of the impact of applied changes and defining the optimal solution
• Optimization of the antenna system of the radio network
• Verification of the validity and consistency of network radio parameters
• Planning of frequencies, initial capacity, neighbours list and initial parameter settings
• Defining and deleting neighbouring relations
• Planning and/or modifying frequency plans (at individual locations or in larger zones)
• Maintaining and updating planning tools and databases and providing their consistency with NMS system
• Initial radio parameters tuning and optimization, to reach target quality and further network monitoring to maintain it
• Capacity expansions planning
• Nominal radio network planning and analysis of coverage loss and proposal for coverage renewal (site relocation)
• Defining solutions for coverage on demand (new BS, Repeater, Pico BTS, WiFi, reconfiguration of existing BS)
• Customer Complain troubleshooting and investigation, including improvement for events and manifestations
• Provide coverage maps and cell information on request by law enforcement agencies
• HW/SW ordering
• Preparation of documentation on radio network for regulatory organizations
• Finance and Sourcing support (equipment ordering, PORs/POs preparation, SAP handling)
• Support to projects. Participation local and international projects
• Vendor management
• Knowledge sharing and experience transfer

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

• University or College degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience within Telecommunication area
• Knowledge of standard wireless network engineering fundamentals for optimization
• Active knowledge of the English language (writing and speaking)
