We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting and tax compliance within larger organizations and is comfortable working in a structured, dynamic environment with ongoing process improvements and automation initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns (PDV) and monitoring of VAT compliance
  • Calculation, booking, and reporting of Withholding Tax (WHT)
  • Posting, review, and control of incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Ensuring accuracy and completeness of accounting records in line with local regulations and group policies
  • Participation in process improvement and automation initiatives within the finance function (considered an advantage)
  • Application of accounting treatments related to IFRS 16 (Leases) and IFRS 9 (Financial Instruments) (knowledge considered an advantage)
  • Support in defining and reviewing tax clauses in commercial contracts, in cooperation with legal and business teams
  • Cooperation with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in large or international companies
  • Strong knowledge of VAT and WHT
  • Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and invoice controls
  • Experience or strong interest in finance process automation / digitalization
  • Good understanding of IFRS; IFRS 16 and IFRS 9 knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in defining or reviewing tax-related contract clauses is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
