Role Overview:

The Desktop Services Specialist is providing support for end users, managing incoming tickets in Service Management system. Being part of the Service Desk team, you would be also responsible for providing expert support for IT requests and incidents, process automation, workflow etc. Another important part of the role consists in ensuring continuous support regarding HW and SW issues in the company’s retail stores.

 

Your main responsibilities would be:

  • Organizing flow of receiving, dispatching and resolving service request tickets and handling incoming calls
  • Providing end user with expert IT support for hardware and software related issues
  • Centralized SW deployment to end user devices using automation tools
  • Patch management for end user computers
  • Implementation, operation and maintenance of IT device management platforms
  • Creating knowledge base articles, procedures and user manuals
  • Maintaining high level of user satisfaction
  • Handling daily routines and performing tasks in cooperative team.

 

What we would expect from you:

  • Excellent knowledge of client operating systems and system software
  • Experience in troubleshooting and problem solving on end user computers
  • Knowledge of device management platforms
  • Knowledge of hardware maintenance and LAN structural cabling
  • Good English (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in an international team
  • Ability to initiate and drive improvement and change
