ROLE OVERVIEW

On the position of FO Design and Implementation Specialist you will prepare projects and drafts, provides solutions for new fiber optic cable routes. Perform research and gives solutions on technical requests and issues related to construction, maintenance and operation of the optical cable network.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Manage Fiber Optic related projects
• Coordinate and participate in overall FO implementation process
• Prepare projects and drafts, provides solutions for new fiber optic cable routes
• Participates in negotiations with commercial partners of the trustee as necessary
• Perform research and gives solutions on technical requests and issues related to construction, maintenance and operation of the optical cable network
• Develops, if necessary, a work program for specific tasks for installation of fiber optic traces
• Coordination and supervision of subcontractors, technical support during on site FO Installation process
• Participate in the design and introduction of processes and procedures related to fiber optic cables installation
• Follow the approved processes and procedures in relation to fiber optic implementation
• Maintain reporting and database update
• Handle technical documentation
• Cooperate with other parts of the organization on process oriented and cross-functional work
• Full support of Vendor Management in the field of  FO Network Development
• Implement HSSE principles in everyday work

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant University degree in technical area
• At least 2 years of experience in fiber optic technology area
• Strong knowledge of fiber optic cables and cable traces installation and implementation
• Experience in mobile network industry is an advance
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to work in cross functional projects under stress in challenging environment
• Meets deadline and quality
• Good planning & analytical skills
• Technical certificates are beneficial
