ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Financial Reporting and Accounting Expert is considered to have a key role in Operations Finance department. In this role you will be responsible for support and preparation of timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, coordination with external and internal auditors, collaboration with all other company’s departments and divisions. The Financial Reporting and Accounting Expert will be responsible for IFRS16 monthly reporting process.  If you are already experienced in financial reporting and accounting and you want to be part of our team, participate in international projects, we are looking for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting in Cetin Bulgaria
• Coordinate and perform month-end closing activities: journal entries, reconciliation and intercompany balance conformations
• Responsible for IFRS16 monthly reporting process and regular internal controls
• Support in implementation of IFRS requirements in respect of financial reporting
• Participate in preparation of Annual Statutory Financial Statements of Cetin Bulgaria
• Strong cooperation with internal and external auditors and support during the audit process
• Participate in local and CETIN Group projects
• Participate in development and improvement of accounting policies and posting logic for new business transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Work on ad-hoc reports and projects as required for corporate purposes

REQUIREMENTS:

Education

• University degree in the field of Finance/ Accounting/Economics or related

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experienceon a similar position or in the field of auditing/ accounting

Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Experience with accounting software, e.g. SAP
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Positive attitude and result orientation
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Flexible and loyal person, good team player
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines in changing environment
• Excellent PC skills (MS Office)
• Proficiency in English
• Experience in Telecommunication industry is an advantage
