ROLE OVERVIEW
Group Product Manager (Techco) is responsible for the development, management, and strategic direction of products and services in the telecommunications sector (CZ, SK, HU, BG, RS). This role combines technical, commercial, and strategic skills to ensure the success of products in the market and meet customer needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Development and Management:
- Defining and developing new solution or services (ICT, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Virtualization, Private 5G Networks, IoT solutions, etc.);
- Manage the full product lifecycle-from concept to market launch and eventual phase-out;
- Collaborating with commercial and technical teams (e.g., business developers, sales, engineers) to ensure solution feasibility.
Market and Customer Analysis:
- Monitoring trends in the telecommunications industry, competition, and technological innovations (ICT, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Virtualization, Private 5G Networks, IoT solutions, etc.);
- Gathering and analyzing feedback from customers and sales teams to identify needs and opportunities;
- Conducting market analyses and creating strategies to target specific customer segments;
- Guiding and supporting the establishment of Sales Funnels and Sales Pipelines for the solutions.
Strategic Planning:
- Developing product strategies and plans aligned with the company’s overall objectives;
- Providing the basis and guidelines for the countries (CZ, SK, HU, BG, RS) to set pricing policies and business models (e.g., subscriptions, service bundles)
- Collaborating on marketing campaigns and sales support;
- Support the training agenda for the Sales teams.
Communication and Coordination:
- Close collaboration with various departments, such as commercial, marketing, technical, legal, and finance;
- Communicating with suppliers, partners, or third parties (e.g., device manufacturers, software providers);
- Presenting product plans and results to company leadership.
Budget and Performance Management:
- Monitoring the financial performance of products (e.g., profitability, ROI);
- Managing budgets for product development and promotion;
- Evaluating product success based on defined KPIs (e.g., number of customers, revenue, churn rate).
MAIN REQUIREMENTS
- Education: University degree in management, marketing, IT, telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally in telecommunications or technology. Knowledge of Telco products (e.g., mobile networks, broadband, IPTV) is an advantage.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of telecommunications technologies and infrastructure (e.g., 4G/5G, optical networks, cloud).
- Project Management Skills: Ability to work on complex projects in a dynamic environment. A Project Management certificate is a plus (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
- Analytical Skills: Ability to work with data, analyze market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to interact with various teams, present ideas, and negotiate with partners.
- Organizational Skills: Managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
- Languages: Fluent English, Czech is an advantage.

Work Environment:
- The Product Manager works in a dynamic environment, requiring quick adaptation to market changes and new technologies.
- The role may involve occasional travel (e.g., for meetings with partners or conferences).

Examples of Specific Tasks:
- Collaborating with marketing on a campaign to launch a new IPTV streaming service.
- Negotiating with device vendors for the exclusive sale of a new solutions/products.
- Negotiate new partnership for countries to introduce SASE solution on the market;
- Build a relevant cybersecurity portfolio for SME segment;
