Product Manager (Telco)

Product Manager (Telco) is responsible for the development, management, and strategic direction of products and services in the telecommunications sector (CZ, SK, HU, BG, RS). This role combines technical, commercial, and strategic skills to ensure the success of products in the market and meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development and Management:
- Defining and developing new telecommunications products or services (e.g., Private 5G Networks, Internet packages, IoT solutions, cloud services, SD-WAN, etc.)
- Managing the product lifecycle from conception through development, market launch, and potential discontinuation.
- Collaborating with technical teams (e.g., developers, engineers) to ensure technical feasibility.
Market and Customer Analysis:
- Monitoring trends in the telecommunications industry, competition, and technological innovations (e.g., 5G private networks, eSIM, SD-WAN).
- Gathering and analyzing feedback from customers and sales teams to identify needs and opportunities.
- Conducting market analyses and creating strategies to target specific customer segments.
Strategic Planning:
- Developing product strategies and plans aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
- Setting pricing policies and business models (e.g., subscriptions, service bundles).
- Collaborating on marketing campaigns and sales support.
Communication and Coordination:
- Close collaboration with various departments, such as marketing, sales, technical support, legal, and finance.
- Communicating with suppliers, partners, or third parties (e.g., device manufacturers, software providers).
- Presenting product plans and results to company leadership.
Budget and Performance Management:
- Monitoring the financial performance of products (e.g., profitability, ROI).
- Managing budgets for product development and promotion.
- Evaluating product success based on KPIs (e.g., number of customers, revenue, churn rate).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: University degree in management, marketing, IT, telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience in product management, ideally in telecommunications or technology. Knowledge of Telco products (e.g., mobile networks, broadband, IPTV) is an advantage.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of telecommunications technologies and infrastructure (e.g., 4G/5G, optical networks, cloud).
- Analytical Skills: Ability to work with data, analyze market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to interact with various teams, present ideas, and negotiate with partners.
- Organizational Skills: Managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
- Languages: Fluent English.
