Radio & Service Quality Optimization Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW:

  • Measure, monitor, and analyze end-to-end mobile network service performance and quality.
  • Analyze and report mid- and long-term performance trends, and enhance service quality through optimization activities, RAN parameter adjustments, capacity planning, and the introduction of new technologies and functionalities.
  • Identify and investigate issues impacting customer experience in collaboration with experts across multiple network domains.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and report network-wide and area performance trends (mid- and long-term) for service quality KPIs, and propose actions to improve performance.
  • Area ownership of end-to-end service performance monitoring and optimization across voice and data services, ensuring a consistent quality of experience (QoE) for the customers.
  • Perform radio coverage, service quality, and benchmarking measurements, analyze results, report findings and support the Radio Network development process.
  • Perform mid- and long-term RAN traffic analysis and capacity dimensioning.
  • Carry out cell-level tuning and deploy radio features to achieve optimal performance and efficient use of installed capacity.
  • Evaluate and tune service performance of newly integrated and upgraded sites.
  • Coordinate service quality troubleshooting to minimize performance impact and improve operational efficiency, working closely with relevant technology units.
  • Participate in end-to-end service quality, radio optimization and cross-functional projects.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in Telecommunications, Radio Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications and mobile networks
  • Analytical skills with the ability to process, analyze and summarize performance data with attention to details and accuracy
  • Experience in radio optimization or radio planning of mobile networks is an advantage
  • Proactive and innovative, with problem-solving attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative team player
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional projects and handle challenging tasks
  • Fluent in English
