Senior FO Implementation Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW

On the position of Senior FO Implementation Engineer you will Coordinate and participate in the process of specification of implementation services in regards to fiber optic network. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, technical support during on site implementation process. Alignment and coordination of FO projects with external companies and organizations

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Coordinate and participate in overall fiber optic implementation process
  • Lead and support complex FO Implementation project
  • Prepare BoQ and Release installation materials and equipment from the warehouse
  • Coordinate and participate in the process of specification of implementation services in regards to fiber optic network
  • Coordination and supervision of subcontractors, technical support during on site implementation process
  • Participate in the design and introduction of processes and procedures related to Fiber Optic implementation
  • Follow the approved processes and procedures in relation to FO and telecom equipment implementation
  • Maintain reporting and database update
  • Participate in Technology roadmaps development in the field of Network Implementation aligned with the new trends
  • Handle technical documentation
  • Prepare reports related to FO Implementation development processes
  • Participate in Technology roadmaps development in the field of Fiber Optic Infrastructure aligned with the new trends
  • Support technology planning processes in respect to FO infrastructure development
  • Participate in Technology strategy preparation
  • Cooperate with other parts of the organization on process oriented and cross-functional work
  • Planning and optimization of FO infrastructure to support connectivity and capacity demand
  • Coordinate and collaborate with FO vendors
  • Contract and Project management related to FO infrastructure development
  • Providing technical support related to FO infrastructure procurement procedures
  • Control and monitor CAPEX and OPEX spending and budget forecasting
  • Perform research and gives solutions on technical requests and issues related to construction, maintenance and operation of the optical cable network
  • Develops, if necessary, a work program for specific tasks for installation of fiber optic traces
  • Alignment and coordination of FO projects with external companies and organizations
  • Lead and support Permitting and legalization of FO cable and cables traces

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant University degree in technical area
  • At least 5 years of experience in FO network industry
  • Exelent knowledge of FO technologies, components, systems, and implementation methodologies
  • Team orientation
  • Good knowledge of permitting and legalization of FO infrastructure
  • AutoCad and GIS tools is a advantage
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work in cross functional projects under stress in challenging environment
  • Mobile, willing to travel across Europe;
  • Shows respect for alternative viewpoints, able to change
  • Meets deadline and quality
  • Technical certificates are beneficial
