Senior IP/MPLS Network Engineer

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in planning, design and optimization of IP/MPLS transmission network to support connectivity and capacity demand
• Ensure IP/MPLS transmission network reliability
• Plan, configurate, dimension and optimize MAN network for Wholesales and Corporate customers
• Define end to end connectivity parameters between network elements
• Keeping up-to-date documentation about IP network infrastructure

REQUIREMENTS

Education, qualification and personal experience:

• University degree in Telecommunications or relevant area
• Passion for new technologies and constant self-development
• Experience with IP networks - IP/MPLS, routing, switching, MAN/LAN, etc.
• At least 3 years of experience working in ISP and/or telecommunications environment
• Network technical certificates are beneficial 
• Works well under pressure with tight timeframes
• Very good English (both written and verbal)
• Integrity and reliability

Specific knowledge and abilities:

• Familiar with the following network technologies & protocols: TCP/IP, MPLS,  Metro Ethernet, etc.   
• Familiar with customer premises equipment (CPE) technologies – Wi-Fi/LAN routers and switches
• Advanced user of Microsoft Products
• Familiar with Linux environment and/or Cloud computing technologies will be a benefit   
• Basic hardware knowledge
