Role Overview

 

The Specialist Delivery of Leases is responsible for securing new locations (rooftops, towers, land, and other infrastructure) required for mobile network rollout, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and corporate expansion plans.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Site Acquisition & Selection

  • Perform field visits to identify suitable locations for base station deployment (rooftops, land plots, towers).
  • Evaluate sites based on technical criteria and predefined lease cost bands.

Negotiation & Contracting

  • Lead negotiations with landlords regarding:
    • lease duration
    • rental cost
    • contractual clauses (exit terms, rights, etc.)
  • Collect and verify required documentation in line with local legislation and company policies.

Land Acquisition & Tenders

  • Participate in tenders for land acquisition.
  • Coordinate documentation for land purchase processes.

Market Analysis & Business Cases

  • Conduct real estate market research.
  • Prepare business cases assessing rental and acquisition costs across different regions.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Represent the Site Acquisition team in rollout projects and cross-department discussions.
  • Coordinate closely with Legal regarding contract templates and compliance.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of:
    • lease agreements
    • negotiation outcomes
    • site parameters
  • Update internal systems and databases.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

 

Requirements

 

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Relevant experience in real estate, telecom, or site acquisition
  • Ability to manage end-to-end processes and deadlines
  • University degree (Business Administration, Engineering, or related field)
  • Valid driving license (field work required)
