Currently we are looking for a Data Center Operations Specialist!

About the role:

In this role, you are responsible for executing operational back‑office tasks within the passive infrastructure domain.You contribute to the day‑to‑day operation of data center infrastructure, including incident handling, maintenance, implementation, and quality improvement activities. You are expected to build solid expertise in the passive infrastructure domain, actively share your knowledge, and support projects where representing CETIN Hungary’s operational interests is required.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Infrastructure Network Elements
Managing vendors/subcontractors and controlling their performance
Supporting the activities of hosting customers
Managing projects and activities related to the area
Performing daily inspection tasks according to the schedule
Performing minor data center and security-technology technician tasks
Technical supervision of the subcontractors’ work in Data Centers
Handling fault codes (alarms) with remote monitoring and assistance in accordance with the Customer's incident management process, procedures and customer instructions
Performing Soft FM tasks (building, mechanical base) and general FM maintenance in task-sharing
Cooperation with onsite personnel
Installation/uninstallation, commissioning, configuration and integration of passive infrastructure equipment
Participating in on-call services
Preparing reports
Willingness to work overtime (extraordinary works)

What We’re Looking For:

Technician level degree on electricity
Computer skills (MS Windows, MS Office, Internet & E-mail, AutoCAD)
Basic knowledge of data center infrastructure operation
Minimum working experience of 3 years within Infrastructure operation
Basic knowledge of English (both written and verbal)
A proven record of delivering results on time
Proven ability for complete project delivering on time with confirmed success
Willing to travel across the CEE Region
Clean driving license
