About the role:

You’ll be the engineer behind the curtain, crafting pipelines and platforms that keep our data ecosystem alive and thriving. Your work will empower analytics, reporting, and machine learning to do what they do best—drive innovation. Think of yourself as the bridge between complexity and clarity.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Crafting and maintaining data ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
Cleaning, transforming, and modeling data for analytics and machine learning.
Optimizing infrastructure for speed, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Implementing and monitoring data quality rules, metadata, lineage, and observability.
Partnering with teams to turn ideas into data-driven solutions.
Developing curated datasets using layered or medallion-style architectures.
Keeping everything compliant with security, governance, and privacy standards.
Embracing CI/CD workflows, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.

What We’re Looking For :

SQL wizardry, including query optimization.
Python (or similar) skills for data processing.
Experience with data warehouses, lakes, or lakehouse platforms.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT, orchestration, and batch/stream processing.
Familiarity with data quality and observability tools.
Git experience and collaborative development workflows.
Bonus points for API integration and DevOps/SRE know-how.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and systematic mindset.
Comfortable navigating multiple data domains.
Curious and eager to explore modern data engineering practices.
A good communicator who thrives in cross-functional teams
Advanced proficiency in both English and Hungarian.
