Currently we are looking for an
ESG Lead Specialist
ROLE OVERVIEW:
Carrying out the CETIN HU’s and CETIN SK’s ESG and sustainability program as the primary point of contact and coordinator. Manage and grow the sustainability control metrics with the aim of improving sustainability impacts of the entire operation, in all departments. This includes data collection, data monitoring, data management and developing initiatives to reach organizations’ sustainability targets. Monitoring relevant national and EU standards, regulations and reporting obligations and preparing necessary actions to support the company’s sustainability compliance.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shaping the company's ESG strategy, recommend and manage related programs in cooperation with CETIN’s regional ESG organization;
- Coordination of setting & monitoring mid- and long-term sustainability goals and translating them into KPI’s across organizations, perform the follow-up and ensure proper reporting;
- Drive the development and/or improvement of sustainability policies, procedures and the ESG rating;
- Coordination of the reporting under CSRD and ESRS including GHG Inventory, Double Materiality Assessment, EU Taxonomy and Policy Gap Assessment;
- Coordination and management of the local obligatory ESG reporting;
- Coordination of the sustainability data collection, monitoring, assessment and improvement action plan;
- Maintain contact with Group-level ESG manager and ESG Team, ensuring timely fulfillment of Group-level data requests;
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholder departments throughout the organization to secure the implementation of the ESG targets;
- Ensure the company’s ESG microsite is reflecting reporting obligations as well as good industry practice and is regularly developed and maintained to remain up-to-date
- Coordination of educating the organization to embed sustainability in all activities,
- Engage with external stakeholders to remain informed on market developments, regulation & new legislation to make sure overall compliance is achieved with an optimized roadmap;
- Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities with national and/or international organizations to contribute and deliver CETIN HU’s and CETIN SK’s roadmaps;
- Manage relationships with relevant external organizations, partners and vendors promoting sustainable supply chains in cooperation with the Procurement Department;
- Preparation of reports related to the activities carried out and/or assigned by the line manager;
- Carry out other tasks assigned by the line manager in accordance with the employee’s qualification and responsibilities.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or other relevant sciences
- Qualifications in the field of ESG / sustainability are an advantage
- Minimum 1 year on similar position or relevant experience
- Work with text and data processing tools, especially Microsoft 365 and Office tools;
- Knowledge of environmental data management, analysis, reporting;
- Knowledge in CSRD and ESRS;
- General knowledge of the telecommunications industry and infrastructure;
- Strong analytical mindset, proactivity and critical thinking;
- Good communications skills
- Fluency in English
