Currently we are looking for an IP Network Specialist!

 

About the role:

In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous development of CETIN Hungary's Core and Enterprise IP Network. You will contribute to the availability and performance of critical network services while supporting network expansions, software upgrades, troubleshooting activities, and performance improvement initiatives. Working closely with internal teams and technology partners, you will play an active role in maintaining network quality and supporting reliable service delivery across the organization.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Operate and maintain IP network infrastructure and related services
  • Provision network resources, including the integration, commissioning, and acceptance testing of new network elements
  • Execute and coordinate preventive maintenance activities, including software upgrades and functionality testing
  • Perform corrective maintenance activities, including troubleshooting and incident resolution
  • Monitor and analyze IP network performance to support service quality improvements
  • Monitor vendor performance and support SLA tracking activities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of network quality and operational performance
  • Participate in IP network performance monitoring activities
  • Support the CNOC team and participate in an on-call rotation

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education & Experience
    • University degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
    • Hands-on experience in operating IP network technologies
  • Professional Expertise & Skills
    • Understanding of technologies used in transport and IP network environments
    • Experience with network operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities
    • Ability to work with technical documentation and operational procedures
    • Fluent English and native-level Hungarian
