Currently we are looking for a Senior Security Governance Expert!
About the role:
As a Senior Security Governance Expert, you will ensure that CETIN Hungary and its customers comply with local cybersecurity legislation and regulatory frameworks—most notably NIS2. You’ll play a pivotal role in guiding audit readiness, identifying gaps, and driving remediation efforts, all while collaborating across multiple teams and domains. This position demands independence, strategic thinking, and the ability to coordinate effectively in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and support security audit preparation across all stages—from gap analysis to remediation.
- Conduct comprehensive gap analyses aligned with security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIS2), covering both organizational and technical controls.
- Document findings and assist in updating or creating security-related documentation.
- Drive security framework processes, including risk management, business continuity, internal audits, and process improvements.
- Facilitate supply chain risk assessments and related audit procedures.
- Partner with the Information Security Officer (IBF) during audits—covering preparation, interviews, result reviews, and remediation.
- Coordinate audit-related activities across the organization.
- Support vulnerability analysis and remediation by performing risk assessments, recommending mitigation strategies, and conducting security reviews.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and champion security principles across the organization.
- Contribute to projects and ad-hoc initiatives focused on implementing security solutions for gap mitigation or remediation.
- Collaborate across security domains in an international environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information/Network Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in information security and/or security governance.
- Certifications:
- Professional security qualifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP) are a strong plus.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of security standards, control frameworks, and Hungarian cybersecurity regulations.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies (e.g., SIEM, DLP, IDM, WAF, PKI, MDM, PAM, AD/ADFS, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Protection, Encryption, Anti-DDoS).
- Familiarity with security audits (e.g., ISO27001) is an advantage.
- Personal Attributes:
- Strong ethics, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Excellent communication skills in Hungarian and English.
