Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to join our growing Data Science and AI team within a leading telecommunications operator. This role will be central to driving customer value by developing advanced machine learning models, ensuring robust data pipelines, and supporting the deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and speech-to-text technologies.

The ideal candidate is both technically strong and business-minded, with a passion for delivering insights and solutions that directly impact customer experience, retention, and revenue.

 

What we will expect from you:

 

  • Customer Value Modeling:
    • Develop, validate, and maintain predictive models focused on churn, lifetime value, segmentation, and customer engagement.
    • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer experience teams to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Data Pipelines & Infrastructure:
    • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support analytics and machine learning workloads.
    • Ensure high data quality, reliability, and availability across structured and unstructured sources.
  • KPI Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Define, track, and automate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to network usage, customer behavior, and AI model performance.
    • Build dashboards and alerts to provide real-time visibility into business-critical metrics.
  • AI/ML Development:
    • Contribute to the design, training, and deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs) for customer support automation, knowledge retrieval, and internal process optimization.
    • Participate in the development of speech-to-text and natural language processing (NLP) models.
  • Collaboration & Innovation:
    • Partner with engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
    • Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI, ML, and telecom analytics, bringing innovative ideas into practice.

 

For a good start you will need:

 

  • Bachelor degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Proven experience building and deploying predictive models at scale.
  • Solid understanding of KPIs relevant to customer lifecycle management (ARPU, churn, NPS, LTV).
