Head of AI Strategy and Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and execution-driven Head of AI Strategy & Solutions to lead our enterprise AI function. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy & AI Officer, this leader will be responsible for driving the end-to-end design, deployment, and adoption of AI across the organization, ensuring AI delivers strategic value, operates ethically, and is embedded sustainably.

You will lead a cross-functional team encompassing AI delivery, governance, and enablement — owning both the AI strategy and the delivery of intelligent solutions that power business transformation.

This is a high-impact leadership role requiring deep technical insight, strong business acumen, and outstanding leadership and communication capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary interface between business units and the AI team, translating strategic priorities into AI initiatives.
• Own the AI use case portfolio: evaluation, prioritization, roadmap planning, and value measurement.
• Oversee the development, deployment, and scaling of AI and machine learning solutions in production environments.
• Ensure the team delivers high-impact models, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled tools in collaboration with key business units.
• Guide data engineering, feature pipeline development, and MLOps infrastructure.
• Define and implement frameworks for responsible AI governance, model risk management, and compliance.
• Drive AI fluency and adoption across the organization through training programs, toolkits, and AI champion networks.
• Foster a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and innovation with AI.
• Support business teams in becoming self-sufficient with AI tools and practices.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, multidisciplinary AI team.
• Collaborate closely with Strategy, Commercial, Transformation, Technology, and functional business leaders to align on vision and delivery.
• Represent the AI function to executive stakeholders and contribute to company-wide strategic planning.

What we are looking for:

• 10+ years of experience in AI, data science, analytics, or a related field, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise AI or advanced analytics solutions with measurable business impact.
• Deep knowledge of ML/AI technologies, data platforms, and production-scale model deployment.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams (engineering, product, governance, enablement).
• Exceptional communicator able to translate between business and technical audiences.
• Skilled at engaging, influencing, and aligning C-level stakeholders across complex organizations.
• Strong planning and execution capabilities: able to define strategy, structure roadmaps, and deliver results.
• Confident managing change and driving adoption in non-technical teams.
• Deep understanding of how to scale AI in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Ability to define governance structures and ethical AI policies that ensure trust and compliance.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting priorities, and adapting to evolving business needs.
