What we will expect from you:

• Implementation and Configuration: Independent installation, integration, and configuration of DWDM/OTN equipment (e.g., Infinera, Nokia, Ekinops) in Yettel transport network across Serbia.

• Testing and Commissioning: Performing Acceptance Test Procedures and commissioning new links and services into production.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitoring network performance, proactive identification, and resolution of complex L1/L2 issues, including coordination with the NOC team.
• Documentation: Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, diagrams, and procedures for the DWDM system.

For a good start, you will need:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications major) or a similar technical field.
• Understanding of DWDM, OTN, SDH/SONET, and Ethernet technology principles.
• Hands-on experience with DWDM equipment and optical instruments (advantage)

• Excellent knowledge of the English language

• Valid B-category driving license (active driver)
