KICKSTART - TV Platforms Test and Quality Assurance Junior Specialist - intern

What we will expect from you:

 

  • Participate in preparing, executing, and documenting test cases for IT systems, focusing on TV applications ( (Smart TV, set-top boxes, OTT solutions, etc.) 
  • Record and report bugs with mentor support, and track their status in collaboration with product team
  • Monitor open defects and assist in reporting their status
  • Learn QA processes through project participation (understanding requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria)
  • Help prepare test environments and test data
  • Identify potential testing issues under mentor guidance (e.g., missing data or environments)
  • Support UAT and end-to-end testing activities
  • Collaborate with the QA team, product team,
  • Learn and apply QA best practices, especially in E2E testing within the Telco and media streaming industry 
  • Assist in preparing basic test reports (test summaries, defect tracking)
  • Get familiar with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Confluence

 

To succeed in this role, we expect that you have:

 

  • High school or College degree preferably from the Telecommunication / IT area
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
  • Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, processes, SDLC
  • Strong ability to details and ability to analyze and organize information
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • A result-oriented individual and proactive
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
