Senior Risk Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Specialist who will be a key custodian of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework within the company.

The role includes the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of risk management methodology and processes across multiple levels:

• business processes,
• projects and investment initiatives,
• the company as a whole, with both short-term and long-term perspectives.

This position plays a significant role in strategic decision-making, executive management reporting, and collaboration with the Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee of the e& PPF Telecom Group.

What we will expect from you:

1. Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)

• Implementation and continuous enhancement of ERM methodology and tools in line with internal policies and relevant standards (e.g., COSO ERM, ISO 31000), in cooperation with the Group Risk Management function.
• Coordination and execution of quarterly company-level risk assessments with a mid-term and long-term perspective, for the purpose of:
• quarterly management reporting,
• reporting to the Group Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee.
• Active participation in the annual strategic process (LTP) through identification, assessment, and quantification of strategic risks, as well as defining action plans and controls.
• Active involvement in ISO certification processes.
• Close collaboration and facilitation of structured risk dialogues with senior management and relevant organizational functions (including Legal, Security, Regulatory Affairs & Privacy, and Portfolio Management), to ensure a comprehensive understanding of identified risks, their root causes and potential impacts, alignment with defined risk appetite, business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Raising awareness and promoting a risk management culture across the organization through training, communication, and active engagement of key stakeholders.

2. Business Process Risks

• Conducting risk assessments for key business processes (operational, financial, regulatory, CeX, reputational, security, etc.) in cooperation with process owners.
• Proposing risk mitigation measures and identifying weaknesses in existing control activities.

3. Portfolio Projects and Investments

• Conducting risk assessments at the project level (resource-related, financial, delivery-related, security, interdependencies with other projects, CeX, reputational, etc.).
• Proposing risk mitigation measures.
• Reporting risks to key stakeholders responsible for project implementation and critical project decision-making.
• Monitoring the implementation of mitigation actions throughout the project lifecycle.

For a good start you will need:

• University degree (Economics, Finance, Management, Engineering, or a related field).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in risk management, internal audit, project management, process management, corporate finance, or controlling.
• Strong understanding of business processes and financial models.

• Knowledge of ERM standards and frameworks (COSO ERM, ISO 31000).
• Experience in large organizations, corporate groups, or regulated industries.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CRMA, FRM, PRM, CFA).

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Ability to assess risks from both a holistic and a detailed perspective.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to lead structured discussions.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate a proactive approach.
