System Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a experienced System Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining server and storage infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and backup solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to the stability, performance, and scalability of our IT systems.

What we will expect from you:

• Design, deploy, and maintain server and storage infrastructure
• Administer and optimize virtualization and clustering platforms
• Monitor system performance and ensure platform reliability
• Manage and improve backup and disaster recovery systems
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement long-term preventive measures 
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures in line with company standards

For a good start you will need:

• High school degree
• Experience with virtualization and clustering platforms (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, OpenStack, OpenShift, etc.)
• Understanding of storage technologies (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, RAID)
• Familiarity with backup systems and disaster recovery principles
• Knowledge of monitoring systems (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios)
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting
• Practical knowledge of server hardware based on Intel x86 architecture
