Adhoc SQL Reporting Specialist

The Adhoc SQL Reporting Specialist will be part of the Data & Reporting team and will work closely with teams across the whole company.

You’ll support smarter business decisions by delivering accurate, relevant, and easy-to-use data insights that help teams act with confidence.

What you’ll do:

• Support the design and improvement of processes for meeting data needs.
• Extract data from primary and secondary sources and maintain data systems.
• Analyze trends and patterns in complex data sets.
• Deliver innovative and efficient solutions to data requests.
• Clean, structure, and present data in a clear and understandable format.
• Troubleshoot issues in data extraction and reporting.
• Work closely with leadership to prioritize business needs.
• Identify and drive process improvement opportunities.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• Data Extraction: Strong skills in data extraction, mining, and reporting using SQL.
• Reporting Tools: Experience with reporting packages and working with structured data.
• Excel & Access: Advanced user of MS Excel and/or Access.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to spot trends and translate data into insights.
• Communication Skills: Able to present ideas in a clear, structured, and logical way.
• Independence & Initiative: Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently.
• Pressure Handling: Comfortable working with deadlines and time constraints.
• English Proficiency: Very good written and spoken English.
• Nice to have: Experience or interest in working with Big Data platforms such as Spark, Hive, or Impala.
