The impact you’ll make:

The BI Developer is responsible for the analysis, development, and support of Business Intelligence solutions. The role includes working with business requirements, designing and implementing data models and reports, and ensuring the stability and performance of BI systems. The BI Developer also collaborates with stakeholders, supports user testing, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives in the BI area.

What you’ll do:

• Analyze and evaluate business requirements for new developments or changes in existing BI system functionality
• Configure, develop, test, tune, and document BI software solutions and supporting systems
• Prepare technical plans, operational procedures, and vendor requirements; communicate with vendors and evaluate offers
• Participate in BI-related projects, provide technical input and documentation, and report task/project status to the line manager
• Suggest improvements, define standards, and propose efficiency-enhancing solutions for the BI area
• Stay up to date with the latest developments and best practices in Business Intelligence
• Plan and execute internal and user acceptance testing, implementation, monitoring, change management, and 3rd level support to ensure 24/7 BI system availability
• Provide training and support to users in their daily use of BI systems; conduct internal trainings for the team
• Oversee and coordinate the technical aspects of BI software development and related equipment implementation
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager, aligned with the role’s responsibilities and qualifications
• Ensure compliance with internal labor rules, health and safety, information security, and personal data protection policies; responsible for safeguarding all confidential information accessed in the course of work

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• Data Transformation Expertise: Proficiency in applying data transformation using Python
• Business Intelligence Expertise: Experience in BI systems including analysis, configuration, development, and documentation
• Technical & Analytical Thinking: Ability to evaluate business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions
• Communication & Presentation: Capable of clearly presenting insights and collaborating with stakeholders across teams
• Organization & Planning: Strong skills in managing multiple priorities, planning tasks, and ensuring timely delivery
• Project Management: Involvement in BI-related projects, from planning to execution and post-implementation support
• Integrity & Reliability: Demonstrates professionalism, responsibility, and commitment to data security and quality standards
