DevOps Infrastructure Expert

The impact you’ll make:
As a DevOps Infrastructure Expert, you’ll play a key role in building, scaling, and evolving our cloud-native infrastructure, with a strong focus on the CNCF ecosystem. You’ll drive innovative solutions from proof of concept to production, enable our developers to work more efficiently through reliable, scalable platforms, and continuously push the boundaries of our internal infrastructure capabilities.

What you’ll do:

  • Architect, design, and deploy resilient, secure, and scalable Kubernetes clusters.

  • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, following GitOps best practices.

  • Lead new initiatives and continuously improve existing Kubernetes workloads.

  • Collaborate closely with the security team to ensure security is embedded into every stage of the design and implementation process.

  • Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Helm, and other relevant tools.

  • Champion platform engineering by building automation and self-service tools that simplify developers’ workflows and improve productivity.

  • Ensure comprehensive, structured documentation is in place for every deployment.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and optimize operations, moving towards a NoOps approach.

  • Define, document, and continuously improve DevOps standards, architectures, and day-to-day processes.

  • Stay up to date with the latest cloud-native technologies and trends, and identify opportunities to incorporate them into our ecosystem.

  • Follow internal company procedures, policies, and instructions relevant to the team.

We expect from you:

  • Cloud Platform Expertise: You have extensive experience with major cloud providers, preferably AWS or GCP, and know how to leverage their services to build reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure.

  • Kubernetes Mastery: You have in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, including cluster architecture, deployment, and scaling, as well as hands-on experience with Service Mesh technologies such as Istio.

  • GitOps & IaC Proficiency: You are experienced in implementing GitOps practices and working with tools such as Argo CD or Flux CD, Terraform, and Helm to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

  • Platform Engineering Vision: You understand the principles of platform engineering and are passionate about building automated, self-service solutions that empower developers and streamline delivery.

  • A Continuous Improvement Mindset: You proactively look for ways to automate, simplify, and optimize processes, helping drive the evolution towards a NoOps approach.

  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: You can explain complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong Organizational and Planning Skills: You can manage projects, prioritize competing tasks, and plan deployments carefully, ensuring they are well documented and executed efficiently.

  • Integrity and Reliability: You take ownership of your responsibilities and approach your work with accuracy, accountability, and professionalism.
