Head of Cost Accounting Section

The impact you’ll make:
You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant cost accounting processes. Your work will support reliable financial reporting, strong internal control, and informed decision-making, while also contributing to the development of the Cost Section team.
What you’ll do:
• Lead and control accounting processes related to company expenditures
• Ensure accurate cost allocation across cost centers and analytical dimensions
• Coordinate monthly accruals and support period-end closing activities
• Oversee expense GL setup and vendor master data maintenance
• Monitor Accounts Payable, including reconciliations and ageing analysis
• Ensure timely recognition of deferred expenses
• Prepare statutory, tax, and audit-related reports
• Support internal and external audits with accurate financial information
• Deliver high-quality reporting with variance and root-cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures
• Identify risks and drive process improvements in cost accounting
• Lead, develop, and support the Cost Section team
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Strong knowledge of NAS and IAS/IFRS
• Good understanding of tax regulations
• Relevant experience in accounting/finance; audit background is a plus
• Strong understanding of accruals, expense recognition, and cost allocation
• Experience with Accounts Payable processes
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• Leadership and people management experience
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP/SAP experience is an advantage
• Good communication skills and English proficiency
• Proactive mindset and willingness for continuous development
