The Internal Auditor will be part of the Internal Audit team and will work closely with teams across the whole company.

The impact you’ll make:

You’ll help Yettel become stronger and more efficient by improving processes, supporting good governance, and turning insights into real business improvements.

What you’ll do:

• Shape and contribute to a dynamic, risk-based internal audit plan.
• Lead audits end-to-end – from planning and execution to reporting and follow-up.
• Use advanced data analytics to turn data into meaningful insights.
• Work with process owners to review findings and drive improvements.
• Track remediation actions and support stronger governance.
• Take part in ad-hoc reviews, investigations, and special projects.
• Follow IIA’s International Professional Practices Framework.
• Prepare regular updates and reports for stakeholders.
• Work with external auditors and regulators when needed.
• Stay flexible and take on additional tasks aligned with your expertise.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• Audit Skills: Strong understanding of internal and external audit, risk management, and business processes.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data and turn it into clear insights.
• Data & Tools: Confidence with data mining tools and MS Office; scripting, programming, and data visualization are a big plus.
• Standards & Governance: Knowledge of Global Internal Audit Standards and best practices.
• Project Ownership: Ability to plan, organize, and deliver audits and initiatives end-to-end.
• Communication Skills: Strong report writing and presentation skills for different audiences.
• Independence: Confidence to investigate, analyze, and recommend improvements on your own.
• Collaboration: Ability to work well with different teams and stakeholders.
• English Proficiency: Very good written and spoken English.
• Nice to have: Professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CFE), experience with automation, analytics, or process optimization.
