Role Overview:

Junior Manual QA Tester is responsible for testing of new capabilities in terms of quality of service after proper and extensive user acceptance testing, guaranteeing that the business systems design, functionalities and performance meet the business needs.

The impact you’ll make:

• Identify the process to test the products
• Ensures that the product meets its specifications or requirements
• Finding out defects/bugs in the products, which is under testing
• Helping to improve the quality of the delivery
• Prepares analyses of business requirements
• Writing, executing tests during Agile development and working closely with agile team members
• Creates test design documentation
• Reproduce, analyse & troubleshoot issues to determine whether the issue requires a code, configuration, or environment fix
• Use test plans, systems documentation, business requirements and acceptance criteria to produce test scripts in preparation for test execution
• Engages in close collaboration with vendors, observing the necessary communication deadlines
• Follows the on-time completion of project deliverables
• Participates in testing (including configuration if necessary) of customized systems

• API Testing Expertise: Proficiency in API testing with tools like SoapUI/Postman, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of applications.
• Software Defect Tracking: Skilled in using software defect tracking tools, such as Jira, to manage and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
• Analytical & Troubleshooting Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes of problems and apply effective troubleshooting techniques to resolve issues.
• Collaboration & Teamwork: Collaborative mindset, thriving in a team-oriented environment and fostering productive relationships across teams to achieve shared goals.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, both written and spoken, enabling clear and effective communication in an international environment.
• Telecom & IT Insight: Familiarity with the telecom industry, with a preference for candidates who can leverage this knowledge to understand and address industry-specific challenges.
• Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL is an advantage, providing a solid foundation for working with databases and backend technologies.
