The impact you’ll make:

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Yettel's information security strategy for Network and Telecom technology. Your expertise will ensure our security architecture supports business goals while proactively safeguarding enterprise information through robust systems, best practices, and mentoring the team.

What you’ll do:

• Design and implement security architecture across 2G/3G, 4G EPC, and 5G (NSA/SA), focusing on SBA and cloud-native deployments (CNF/NFV, Kubernetes, SDN).
• Lead security governance across 5G Core (AMF, SMF, UPF, PCF, NRF, AUSF, UDM), VAS platforms, Open/vRAN, Edge/MEC, IMS, interconnect/roaming, and API layers.
• Embed Secure-by-Design and Zero Trust principles, ensuring authentication, micro-segmentation, API security, signaling protection, inter-slice isolation, and secure service-to-service communication.
• Support telecom and cloud transformation initiatives from design to operational acceptance, following ENISA, 3GPP, GSMA, ETSI, NIS2, and EU 5G Security Toolbox guidelines.
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and attack surface analysis, including supply chain and high-risk vendor evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with telecom and cybersecurity standards, emphasizing resilience, availability, and incident reporting.
• Develop cloud-native hardening standards, container security baselines, API security guidelines, and resilience controls for distributed and edge deployments.
• Support audits, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security reviews.

We expect from you:

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity architecture principles and relevant standards (3GPP, ENISA, NIS2, ETSI, GSMA).
• Deep knowledge of telecom network architectures, including 2G/3G, 4G EPC, and 5G SBA.
• Expertise in 5G Core functions (AMF, SMF, UPF, PCF, NRF, AUSF, UDM) and telecom protocols (SS7, Diameter, SIP, GTP, RTP, MAP, SMPP, PFCP, HTTP/2).
• Familiarity with cloud-native and virtualized telecom environments (NFV, CNF, Kubernetes, container security).
• Experience with vendor security assessments, project security governance, and signaling security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and mitigate threats.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business units, and senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, strategic mindset with the ability to mentor and guide colleagues in information security practices.
