Role Overview:

Handle medium/high complex projects for the selection of products/services related to Network and/or IT area.

 

 

Your responsibilities will be:

 

  • Identification of suitable suppliers
  • Negotiations, co-ordination and assistance in signing related contracts, based on the outcome of the sourcing process, vendor management
  • Obtain the best Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) value (price & quality, delivered at the right time)
  • Direct the overall consulting process with departments in determining needs and developing specifications for goods or services
  • Negotiating with market leading Technology or IT  vendors / suppliers as well as niche vendors.
  • Qualify suppliers – identify selection criteria, select supplier long list, conduct RFx process 
  • Conduct market research and analyse relevant data (benchmarking, spend, contracts) to support execution of supplier/sourcing strategies.

 

 

We expect from you:

 

  • Strategic Sourcing Expertise: Proficiency in procurement and strategic sourcing practices, with a focus on the Network and/or  IT category.
  • Contract Management: Comprehensive knowledge of contract terminology and ability to interpret complex agreements.
  • Negotiation Abilities: Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven track record of mitigating risks and generating cost savings.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong capability to analyse market trends, evaluate supplier performance, and optimize cost structures.
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives and long-term company goals.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic procurement environment and quickly adapt to evolving trends and market conditions.
  • Relationship Management: Skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Capability to address complex procurement challenges and develop innovative sourcing solutions.
  • Project Management: Competence in managing multiple procurement projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Language Skills: Strong command of English for effective business communication.
  • Work well under pressure with tight timeframes
  • Very good PC skills (MS Office, Excel, etc)
