AWS Principal Engineer,

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Lead the design of scalable, secure and cost-effective cloud infrastructure and applications on AWS for the AI and data department
• Oversee the deployment, configuration and management of AWS services
• Cross-domain knowledge: deep understanding of the IT domains connected to AWS
• Design and perform developments on YettelHU AWS
• Implement and maintain automation tools and alerts for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and stability
• Optimize cloud infrastructure and applications for achieving better performance
• Ensure the implementation of best practices for security and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team, guiding them in best practices
• Foster culture of continuous learning and lead the Yettel’s AWS Competence Center team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Data Science, BI team, key stakeholders
• Drive innovation by exploring new cloud services, technologies and methodologies
• Responsible for the  formation of long-term vision/ domain architecture of AWS environment
• Responsible for the lifecycle management and roadmap of the components or applications of AWS, aligned with the business and IT strategy priorities

You are the ideal candidate for our team if you have/are:

• College/University degree and 10+ years experience
• Minimum 5 years as a senior developer in AWS environment
• At least 2 years in a technical supervisory role
• Knowledge and understanding of AI/ML technical requirements is an advantage
• Understands business and IT priorities
• Leadership, communication and knowledge sharing skill  (Hungarian and English) 
• Capable to translate and present complex IT solutions to support management decisions

On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, we work in the close-to-nature and innovative Yettel House, and during the summer, in our Garden Office. On Mondays, depending on your projects or tasks, we have the option to work either from Yettel House or from home.
