You’ll act as the primary architectural bridge between business demands (Commercial, Customer Value Management, Finance, Analytics, AI teams) and data engineering delivery (Data Engineering squads, DWH/Lakehouse teams, System Integrators, and Cloud specialists). 

The Data Solution Architect translates analytical and operational data requirements into scalable, secure, governed, and operationally sustainable end-to-end High-Level Designs (HLDs)—supporting the strategic transition from legacy on-prem DWH platforms to a modern Cloud Data Lakehouse, Semantic Layer, and AI-ready data mesh. 

These are the tasks you will be responsible for:

• Design and oversee end-to-end data solutions, ensuring that business needs are translated into scalable and secure data architectures. Your work will directly support the company’s transition to modern cloud-based data platforms, making data more accessible and reliable for all teams. 
• Act as the main link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that data solutions meet both operational and analytical requirements. This will help the organization make data-driven decisions and improve overall efficiency. 
• Develop high-level designs and blueprints for data ingestion, processing, and storage, which will enable seamless migration from legacy systems to cloud-based solutions. Your contributions will ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all projects. 
• Define and implement technical strategies for migrating data from traditional databases to cloud environments, including planning for data reconciliation and historical data archiving. 
• Ensure all data solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, data models, and security guidelines. 
• Integrate data architectures with advanced analytics and AI initiatives, collaborating closely with data engineering and AI teams. 
• Provide guidance to engineering teams throughout the development and operational phases, ensuring solutions are delivered according to approved designs and best practices. 

We are looking for you to join our team if you have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. 
• At least 4 years of experience as a Data Solution Architect, Data Architect, or Senior Data Engineer, with a track record of designing large-scale enterprise data platforms. 
• Deep knowledge of modern Data Lakehouse and Cloud Data Warehouse architectures, especially on AWS (such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, EMR, Lake Formation, Kinesis/MSK). 
• Strong skills in data modeling (including Dimensional/Kimball, Data Vault 2.0, 3NF, Semantic Layer modeling, and Data Product contracts). 
• Hands-on experience with modernizing legacy data warehouses, building ETL/ELT pipelines, working with streaming data (Kafka/EventBridge), and implementing data quality frameworks. 
• Solid understanding of data governance, including data catalogs, lineage, quality frameworks, GDPR compliance, and access control. 
• Familiarity with Knowledge Graphs, vector search, RAG architectures, and integrating data for AI/ML is a strong plus. 
• Experience in telecommunications data domains is an advantage. 
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills in both English and Hungarian.
