We are looking for a leader who can fill our corporate strategy with life while also inspiring their own team.

As the new leader of the function / team, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the digital design team (UX/UI) to ensure the company’s digital presence is unified and of high quality, directly supporting our digital strategy.
• Ensure our apps and web platforms are accessible and easy to use for everyone, improving customer experience and fostering collaboration across teams.
• Create and continuously refine the long-term digital design strategy, aligning it with business goals and defining key user journeys so that developments truly serve customer needs.
• Manage and enhance the design system, oversee versioning and the introduction of new elements, and establish clear rules for cross-team collaboration.
• Set and enforce standards for usability, accessibility, content, and interaction quality, making sure every development meets essential criteria.
• Guarantee quality and consistency across multiple projects by promoting pattern reuse, managing dependencies, and preventing outdated design from accumulating.
• Collaborate with customer experience teams, integrating research findings, usability testing, and A/B test results into the design process.
• Lead the UX/UI designers, handling recruitment, onboarding, regular feedback, career development, and performance reviews.
• Foster a team culture where everyone feels safe and valued, and all perspectives are respected.

• Leadership experience, including mentoring and career development.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at all organizational levels.
• Deep knowledge of UX/UI principles, interaction design, and visual design best practices.
• Proven experience in building and managing scalable design systems.
• The ability to ensure design consistency across web and mobile platforms.
• Strong analytical and delivery skills, making data-driven decisions based on research, usability, and A/B testing.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Miro.
• Familiarity with prototyping, accessibility testing tools, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• A solid understanding of how e-commerce platforms work from a technical perspective, including integration points, checkout flows, and performance optimization.
