We are looking for a #PeopleFirst leader who can fill our corporate strategy with life while also inspiring their own team.

As the new leader of the function / team, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Overall end to end responsibilities of the customer facing IT domain of Yettel Hungary in terms of development, operation and maintenance with close cooperation with Core IT Department
• Leading the department in line with company strategic direction and according to Yettel values
• Actively participates in LTP process and co-creates IT strategy / roadmap accordingly
• Manages risk, controls costs (Opex/Capex responsibility in the core IT area)
• Manages development and operation of easy-to-use and reliable customer facing IT platforms / services toward internal and external customers
• Actively contributes into portfolio planning on company level, optimizes and allocates customer facing IT resource accordingly
• Actively co-managing BSS transformation program by all means from customer facing IT domain
• Provides oversight and serves as an interface to executive management for large customer facing IT system upgrades developments, operation and maintenance
• Works with business unit managers and forms alliances on projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements/conflicts and vendor contract clarification
• Measuring continuously development and operation performance, leading the department toward its best value delivery
• Vendor and authorities relationship management

You are the ideal candidate for our team if you have / are:

• University/College degree
• Experience in business processes and development
• Experience in sourcing development/testing services
• Fluency in English
• Working in a key professional area (telecom network, IT operations/development) which is business critical in Yettel Hungary
• High level of technical expertise combined with a good business acumen and commercial understanding
• Forward leaning attitude, role model in living up to Yettel values
• Work/expertise is highly appreciated by the company (professional and personal aspects as well)
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to manage teams, complex work streams, and gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives
