You will have the following responsibilities:

• You own and actively shape the product backlog, roadmap, and priorities, ensuring that development efforts continuously deliver maximum business value and directly support the company’s strategic goals and customer outcomes.
• By translating business needs into clear, actionable user stories and development scope, you enable the team to build the right solutions efficiently, reducing ambiguity and accelerating time-to-market for impactful features.
• You make key product decisions on scope, priorities, and trade-offs, while contributing to strategic and technology planning — ensuring that product direction aligns with long-term business growth, scalability, and innovation goals.
• Building a deep understanding of system behavior, capabilities, and architecture, you ensure delivery quality remains high and solutions are technically sound.
• High-level estimations for new requests are provided confidently, while taking full ownership of delivery from initial idea through to final release.
• Close collaboration with vendor development teams and internal stakeholders ensures smooth, aligned, and efficient delivery across all parties.
• You actively support releases, testing, and solution validation to guarantee stable and reliable product performance.
• Working closely with stakeholders, you gather, challenge, and prioritize requirements to reflect real business needs.
• User stories and acceptance criteria are continuously created and maintained, keeping the backlog clear, structured, and ready for development.
• From a user perspective, desired functionality is articulated in a clear and compelling way that guides development decisions.
• Acceptance criteria for features and user stories are defined in a precise and testable manner.
• Active participation in testing ensures that delivered solutions fully meet expectations and defined requirements.
• You ensure that application documentation is always up to date, supporting transparency, knowledge sharing, and long-term maintainability.

You are the ideal candidate for our team if you have/are:

• College or University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering
• 2+ years Java backend development experience, preferably using Spring Boot
• 3+ years experience with large scale IT development projects involving complex, integration-heavy systems in a multi-vendor enterprise environment
• Experience in backlog management and agile delivery
• Experience analyzing the results of software quality and security checks (eg. SonarQube, Checkmarx)
• Experience with SwaggerHub, Postman, GitHub or similar tools, Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office advanced user
• Experience with implementing or maintaining workflow/orchestration engine (Activiti / Camunda / BPMN) is a huge plus
• Confident stakeholder and vendor management skills
• Structured, analytical, and delivery-oriented mindset
• Telecommunications industry background is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) both in Hungarian and English
