Senior Cost Controller,

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Coordinating company-wide cost management, including actual vs budget analysis, quarterly forecasting, yearly target setting, strategy planning and cost monitoring, so the business can operate efficiently and meet its financial goals.
• Preparing regular reports for local Management and coordinating quarterly Financial Reviews, helping leadership make informed decisions and maintain transparency.
• Controlling activities in relevant business areas (such as HR), ensuring cost efficiency and supporting the team in optimizing resources.
• Managing cost efficiency benchmarking by coordinating and modeling company-wide activity-based international cost comparisons.
• Controlling and verifying cost-related Business Cases for the relevant areas.
• Supporting Segment and Product Profitability analysis modeling.
• Conducting ad-hoc analyses based on management requests.

You are the ideal candidate for our team if you have / are:

• A university or college degree in Finance/Economics with proper understanding of Accounting.
• At least 5+ years of professional experience in Finance, Controlling, Project Cost Management, or Managerial Accounting.
• The ability to handle complex financial tasks, overview complex problems, structures, and summarize them to the management.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA FI/CO modules) and BI (preferably IBM Cognos TM1) is an advantage.
• Fluency in Hungarian and English (both written and spoken).
• Good communication and presentation skills, even with executive levels.
• Accuracy and the ability to handle periods of high workload.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex processes.
• An active approach to leveraging automation and AI technologies to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and support business objectives.
