Role Overview:
The Cloud Administrator will manage and optimize scalable cloud environments, ensuring their security, performance, and reliability. This role involves collaborating with development teams, deploying AI models, troubleshooting operational issues, and maintaining system documentation. Additionally, the administrator will oversee production deployments and stay updated on emerging cloud technologies to enhance system efficiency.
Your responsibilities would be:
- Manage scalable cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Monitor cloud environments and the modules running on them for performance, security, and reliability.
- Respond to and troubleshoot operational issues related to systems, participate in root cause analysis, and implement corrective action plans.
- Manage the deployment of different models, including AI models, into production environments, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and workflows.
- Manage the process of production deployment of new features and functionalities and verify system functionality and performance.
- Optimize the performance of hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for the cloud.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends to provide innovative solutions.
- Responsible for creating, documenting, and maintaining the systems’ and applications’ procedures.
We expect from you:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Strong expertise in designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Operational Support & Troubleshooting: Expertise in responding to incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions for cloud-related issues.
- Security & Compliance: Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, networking, and database management to ensure system integrity and reliability.
- Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Skilled in using monitoring and logging tools to track cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize hardware and software components.
- Automation & Scripting: Proficient in Python and Bash for automating cloud operations, optimizing workflows, and reducing manual effort.
- Containerization & Deployment: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes to manage, scale, and orchestrate cloud-native applications efficiently.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Communication: Ability to work closely with development teams to align cloud solutions with business and application needs.
- AI & Machine Learning Integration (Nice to Have): Familiarity with deploying AI models into production and ensuring their seamless integration into existing cloud workflows.
