Role Overview:
As a key member of the technology strategy team, the Infrastructure Architect plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing hybrid cloud solutions. This role bridges business needs with technical execution, driving infrastructure transformation, cloud adoption, and operational excellence across the organization. The successful candidate will lead architectural initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that infrastructure design aligns with organizational goals, compliance standards, and emerging best practices in the cloud and enterprise architecture space.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Architecture Design: Develop and define the architecture for hybrid cloud environments, integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud solutions to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into architectural solutions that support organizational objectives.
• Cloud Implementation: Oversee the deployment and configuration of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to ensure alignment with business needs and technical requirements.
• Infrastructure Transformation: Lead transformation initiatives to migrate legacy systems to cloud platforms, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and data integrity.
• Security Integration: Implement security best practices across all architecture designs, addressing vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze the performance of infrastructure components, making recommendations for enhancements and tuning to optimize resource utilization and efficiency.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including diagrams, standards, and procedures to support ongoing management and decision-making.
• Collaboration and Mentorship: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure cohesive architecture implementation. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff on architecture principles and best practices.
• Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with cloud service providers and third-party vendors to ensure service delivery aligns with business goals and SLAs.
• Research and Innovation: Stay updated on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, providing insights and recommendations for their implementation within the organization.

We expect from you:

• Cloud Architecture Expertise: Proven ability to design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hybrid Infrastructure Design: Skilled in integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud environments to support enterprise needs.
• Networking & Virtualization: Strong understanding of networking protocols, virtual machines, and virtualization technologies across complex IT environments.
• Enterprise Architecture Frameworks: Familiarity with methodologies such as TOGAF to guide architectural planning and alignment with business goals.
• Security & Compliance: Deep knowledge of cloud security practices, identity and access management, and regulatory standards such as GDPR and HIPAA.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for automating infrastructure deployment and configuration.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for managing and deploying container-based applications.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to assess complex systems, identify opportunities for optimization, and resolve technical challenges effectively.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; capable of working closely with engineering, operations, and business teams.
• Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends in cloud and infrastructure domains.
• Certifications (Optional but Valued): Recognized credentials in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) are a plus.
